Time Creativity Attention Communication . .
"How did it get so late so soon?
It's night before it's afternoon.
December is here before its June.
My goodness how the time has flewn."
– Dr. Seuss
First — a sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart to the friends/subscribers of this “newsletter” who responded with a request to receive my film “Dusk Eyes”.
It was a true labor of love, endless hours over the summer and autumn months, and it feels really good to have shared my vision with so many of you.
Extra appreciation to those who have also shared their impressions of those sixty-seven minutes.
If anyone remaining here would still like a link to the film download, do drop a line.
It is tricky to find ways of sharing creative projects —whether it be art, writing, or, in this case, a film.
Social media, which seemingly should be just the apparatus, is mostly disappointing in reaching an audience; my creative friends concur.
The time and attention to read beyond a few paragraphs seems to have been swallowed up by our hand-held devices — and writing, as was done in the not-so-ancient art of authoring and responding emails, has been given over to text messages and emoticons.
And that’s where we are — as I complete my 74th spin around Helios next week.
