THREE Sense Worth
Three perspectives/lessons for your thoughtful consideration.
ONE
I found this discussion to be smart, self-aware, and a very necessary conversation for my species to be having at this time.
So I’m sharing. Video, 34 very worthwhile minutes.
There are too many screens in my life. Computer — for my creative work. Smartphone — primarily for texting, making plans. Add to these the vile ever-increasing LinkNYC kiosks that fill passing eyes with advertising on city streets. And the advertisement signs on subways, which are becoming active video screens. And store windows, and restaurants. Etc.
I read a lot. Books. Not Harry Potter.
Paper please.
And yet I have found my attention span and focus affected by the flood of cultural distractions and with every passing year I have felt the need to adjust my days to keep my brain from turning into a algorithm controlled blob.
Meditation, Physical exercise. Flat-screen time primarily for watching cinema. No superheroes.
TWO
Christopher Hitchens Resurrected
The imagined text so perfectly fits what Christopher Hitchins might have said — that in this instance I have to give a nod to the folks using AI to create these. (Other than his take on the Iraq War, Hitchins’ voice was one of sharp reason; able to cut through the wide range of available inanities.)
Christopher Hitchins (1949 – 2011)
British and American author and journalist.
2a — On Charlie Kirk . . .
2b — On Elon Musk . . .

THREE
How well do you know American History???
How about George Lincoln Rockwell (who was assassinated in 1967)?
Your thoughts, feedback, are always very welcomed.
