On The Road Again
Kids and Friends in Vermont
Last week I went to Vermont — where I lived for 20+ years — to visit with my three adult kids, as well as some dear friends.
On Saturday — Tammy and I and our friends Pam and Bruce — went to see the wonderful-as-always Bread & Puppet Resurrection Circus and Pageant in Glover.
On Sunday I got my first tattoo by Jim Duval @ Monster Mash Ink. It is of my icon/avatar — the walking Disc Face.
I also got professional and wild hair coloring from (my daughter) Martha @ HirkaHaircraft
the refurbished me . . .
On Monday we went to Montreal
After numerous nose probing tests and form-filling procedures we went on our first real trip since the pandemic began.
We love walking around that most marvelous city and went on the huge ferris wheel that opened in 2017 in the Old Port. Parking and street construction made driving around less than fun.
We visited Leonard Cohen’s grave, had food at two eateries in his neighborhood, and marveled at the beautiful mural of him that overlooks the city.
Here are some faux eStamps I made in his honor early last year.
There are many large spiders there — as this very short video shows . . .

Speaking of travel, here’s my art/life partner Tammy’s piece about our travels in Iceland, in October of 2016.

As B/4, thank you so much for opening the envelope and examining (via clicks) some of the contents.
Special thanks to those of you who responded or commented.
Stay safe and healthy.
Wear a mask, get vaccinated and tell Van Morrison and Eric Clapton to please shut up and just play some music.
