Sorry, not sorry, but these beloved classics stink. Movies are only as good or bad as those watching them deem them to be and I'm sure the movies I'm kicking to the curb here are someone's faves. I still say that the following “classic” movies are such stinkers that they need to be shoved into the very back of a deep, deep vault and locked away.

Last week I traveled to the far reaches of Brooklyn — an hour and a half commute by subway and bus (book reading time!) — to witness and report on this protest for a basic human right — genital integrity. Someday the world, particularly the US, will come to reason — but in the meantime there's work to be done . . .
