Kenaz's Light
A breezy rundown of giantess video games, one tall Russian model, and a fond farewell.

Hey again. Is this too soon? Is it a good time?
This will be a different format from previous newsletters, because the one thing I’m consistent at is changing things up. It’s going to be heavy on “giantess news,” if we can call it that, omitting the Old Norse giantess review, and I’d already stopped adding flash fiction. Lastly, a bit of personal news at the end, and I’m sure you know where this is going, so let’s get on with it.
Giantess News
As always with these SE Asian gaming articles, have your online translator warmed up and ready.
Giantess Playground
A new Shrine Maiden costume has been released, as well as a seasonal outfit for Xmas (action GIFs here). You might not know that if you’re on X/Twitter, where the developers’ official account has been marked as “sensitive content.”

Expedition 33
TSA—not that TSA; The Sixth Axis, a gaming magazine—announced their Game of the Year for 2025. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a story about a red-haired giantess who wipes out a segment of the population and creates bizarre monsters for the players to fight as they try to stop her.
SAEKO
The much-vaunted lo-res game about being kidnapped by a psychopathic young Japanese woman has received language updates in French, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Ukrainian. Please to enjoy an interview with the CEO and staff of this popular game.
Gigantic☆Maidestruction
(Aka Super-Class☆Maid Destruction, Super Crossbow Class☆Maid Destruction) Catch a sneak preview of this pixel-art fighting game, produced by Pipipimochi. You play a giantess in a French maid costume who’s using an alien invasion as her excuse to destroy the city she must defend. Read about it on the Steam store page, but the official released date is sometime in 2027.
The Great Beauty
A gamer reminisces over one of his favorite giantess video games, The Great Beauty. The premise is that a model has been stung by an alien jellyfish and grows to tremendous dimensions, and players have to fight her off. It’s a PS2 game, so good luck finding it anywhere.

Non-Video Game Giantess News
Ekaterina Lisina
This 6’9”/207 cm Russian model (and self-styled comedian) toured Alcatraz. I suppose the comedy comes from the fact that the prison wasn’t large enough for her and she looms over everything. (Instagram)

Personal News
A week ago I gave an online presentation giantesses in Old Norse mythology, to a lifelong learning community through my university. For 90 minutes I spoke at breakneck pace to 110 participants about the evolution of giantesses, from Scandinavian animist origins, through their retooling for Old Norse myths, and finally how badly they were characterized by the Christian scholars recording those myths. Today I gave another presentation for a much smaller group from the Size Fantasy community (tried to last week but only one person seemed interested). I think I know the topic very well, and now I hope a few others do too.
That presentation represents the culmination of my giantess porn writing, my public education about macrophilia, and the last 20 months of Scandinavian studies. Someone asked if I might record the presentation and share it on YouTube, and I might. Just another piece of legacy to leave online, upload it and forget about it.
Because I think I’m followed this path as far as I can or care to. I’ve quietly taken down my Pixiv account of digital artwork and terminated my Bluesky account (it was causing more pain than benefit). What will always remain is my unnamed WordPress website, the hub of anything I’m involved with; all other sites are under review.
That also means this is the final issue of That’s About the Size of It. Thank you for reading, I hope you got something useful out of it. I have nothing more to contribute, the news is all the same, and I’m taking another indefinite break from writing. I have no idea what’s next, with only the light of Kenaz’s torch to illuminate my path one step at a time.
