Bonus Episode: 1977 After Show
A podcast about the great movie years.
In the culture I mean, but not on the A Very Good Year after show. We briefly touch on a long list of other movies that didn’t make the lightning round and then we get into a little bit about the space ship shoot-em-up movie.
Jordan Hoffman is the cousin I always wished I had when I was a kid, instead of the redneck weirdos I got. We talk about his choice to include a Grateful Dead concert movie in his top 5 and a few of his Honorable Mentions that got left on the cutting room floor.
Okay, now that we’re into the weeds of this post I can say it - Star Wars is a franchise of long toy commercials intended for children and it’s hard for me to understand how so many adults fetishize these movies. Do you? There are actual destructive things people could be doing with themselves, going to a Wookie convention isn’t one of them.
