This is a fun look at the (relatively recent) history of Halloween pranks, courtesy of newspapers.com. A surprising number of buggies involved, if I’m being honest!

And if you really want to dive deep, here’s an article about the origin of the phrase “trick or treat” — the earliest printed version of it comes from 1917!
