31 Days of Halloween: October 5

Good evening, ghouls and goblins,

It’s a wonderful October weekend here in Portland! We went to the “Not So Scary” Fair at Wonderwood Springs today and had a great time.

Spooky goodies!

Live music, local shops, and amazing weather. What more could you ask for? (If the answer is “goats", well, they had those too!)

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is on Bluesky, and as usual, they are really delivering on the seasonal content:

A pumpkin patch. In the distance, a faint image of a blue ghost surrounded by a halo of carving knives. The text reads: you're carving. The knife ghost waits. Because you're using a knife. Instead of a pumpkin carving kit. Always use a pumpkin carving kit, never a knife.
Safety first!
