31 Days of Halloween: October 31+1
Good evening, friends,
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Thanks for joining me during the entire month of October for the 10th (!) year of this newsletter!
We had a chill yet wonderful evening, answering the door for a few trick-or-treaters (it was raining so not too many folks made it out).
We even managed to dress up this year — and someone recognized the costumes?!
(We’re Jareth, Baby Toby and Sarah from Labyrinth, in case it’s not familiar!)
And then, when the knocks at the door stopped, I put on my pumpkin pajamas and we watched movies — The Substance (fun) and Nosferatu (1922 version, my personal tradition). Perfect.
🎃
So, thus concludes year 10 of 31 Days of Halloween!
Before I get all emotional (sniff), a little bit of housekeeping: this is the last email I’ll send until next year. You also don’t need to do anything to join again next year — no need to unsubscribe and/or resubscribe, it’ll just pick right up where we left off.
And with that out of the way…a huge, huge, HUGE thank you to everyone who’s read along, sent in links, replied with kind notes, posted on social media, and shared photos with me. There’s always so much good stuff I don’t get a chance to include and so many emails I still need to reply to — apologies for that. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the things that did make it in! (And I still feel odd putting this in since this is such a labor of love, but here is the link to my ko-fi 💀)
It honestly means the world to me to know that so many of you enjoy what I’m doing here. It has truly been my pleasure to work on this all month, and I look forward to doing it every single year. (In fact, please keep me in mind as you see spooky links and pictures throughout the year – and please send them my way!)
Alas, for now, it’s time to return to the crypt until next October…
🦇👻🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🦇
Til next year,
Laura
