[31 Days of Halloween] October 25
A charming pet parade and a spooky short film (plus art)
Good evening, creepy crawlies,
Whoa, is Halloween really in less than a week? That really snuck up on me…
We went to the St. Johns Halloween pet parade today, and it was charming. The weather also showed up to celebrate; it drizzled in the morning, paused for the dogs (and one cat) to strut their stuff, then picked up in earnest and nearly blew away a bunch of vendor tents at the nearby farmer’s market, before opening up and pouring down rain as soon as we got back in the car. Very considerate!
Tonight I’m watching this short film, The Tell-Tale Heart, directed by Robert Eggers (of The VVitch and Nosferatu) in 2008.
It’s 22 minutes long and apparently has puppets. I’m seated, as the kids say…
