Good evening, my creepy crawlies,

Got some more Halloween decorations up this weekend! (Someone immediately stole a skeleton out of our yard, so I bought three more to spawn in its place. You can’t keep a good skeleton down.)

Today I’m enjoying this clever little 3D printed The Shining maze, housed in a cassette tape - it can be yours on Etsy for under $10.

It reminds me of the time I visited the ‘actual’ maze at the Stanley Hotel in Colorado - the inspiration for the film, though not the source of its interior (soundstages inspired by the Ahwahnee Hotel in California) or its exterior (Timberline Lodge here in Oregon, which I have visited).

If I ever won the lottery, I wouldn’t tell anyone… but there would be signs. And one of those signs would be the sprawling hedge maze growing on the grounds of my (immersive, haunted) manor house.
